Serving and Learning at LORDS

LORDS Lutheran College showcased their rich PBL (Project Based Learning) units across Year 1 and 5 to visiting Lutheran Schools and to the wider LORDS community. The rich PBL units were deeply infused with Service Learning which was scaffolded by a process of Human Centred Design (Design Thinking). It was a wonderful celebration of their learning that focused on empathy, understanding ourselves and others and service. It was heart warming to hear an elderly member of the local community who was involved with the learning say to LORDS,  “…if you do this again next year I can get you trillions of elderly who would love this experience as much as we did!”
