ABOUT LUTHERAN EDUCATION QUEENSLAND

Lutheran Education’s purpose is to support ‘inspired learning for life’. Lutheran Education Queensland (LEQ) is charged with the responsibility of providing leadership and support for the system of schools and early childhood services who carry out this vision.

With 26 schools and 61 early childhood services operating in Queensland and northern NSW, LEQ provides support for the contemporary delivery of excellence in education and care.

Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services (QLECS) is a branch of LEQ and manages the obligations of the Approved Provider for the early childhood services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Financial Accountant is a key role within QLECS with the primary objective of providing professional, timely, and accurate management and financial reporting and analysis for QLECS operations.

The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for all matters of business administration and financial control of the QLECS Branch and its Centrally Managed Services and has oversight of Locally Managed Services’ financial and business operations, ensuring their financial viability and compliance with legislation applicable to this area.

A copy of the position description is available here.
