LEQ schools have been offered free access to use this wellbeing tool during the Covid-19 school disruption period. “School Day @Home” was recently highlighted at a Global HundrED Forum focusing on learning during Covid.
The tool backed by work and research from 4 universities allows students to answer 10 wellbeing focused questions daily, building a data picture of how students are coping with different aspects of remote learning. School leaders can get snapshot big picture data and class teachers, or year level coordinators can delve deeply into the data looking for and tracking trends over time.
All student input data is anonymous to encourage honest responses. Data sets can be shared with student groups to unpack and discuss strategies to improve wellbeing. The app could be used from approximately year four up and the app integrates with a range of platforms including Microsoft Teams. If you are interested in setting this up for some student groups in your school, then please contact Derek Bartels.
