“Great to be able to host Derek this week at St John’s in Bundy and have him share his knowledge around Sustained Inquiry and PBL. Teachers and Teacher Assistants worked collaboratively whilst engaging with the unit planning tuning protocol. The protocol allowed for teachers to share units of work, constructively provide feedback and share ideas and resources with each other.” Jocelyn Bakker
Staff across St John’s Lutheran Primary School Bundaberg amplified their techniques in rich collegial collaboration together with their vast experience with inquiry processes to fully engage in a feedback protocol. The PBL Tuning Protocol from PBLWorks (previously known as the Buck Institute) is a well researched, enjoyable and a safe way for teachers to give high quality feedback on experiential units of work. PBL School Facilitators are currently developing their skills in driving this highly successful protocol.
St John’s have decided to use this protocol as a default for teachers giving feedback across class groupings. Great Work St John’s Bundaberg!
