Series #2 – Making Learning Stick launched in March at Immanuel Lutheran College. This event invited like-minded educators to share tried and tested quality practice. This Learning and Innovation Series was held in collaboration with special guests Jen Gibb, Cassandra Labudda, and Amy Thompson. The workshop aligned with contemporary educational trends, offering teachers the right amount of everything – practical strategies, professional dialogue, and networking.
Professional learning topics included:
· Metacognition and making learning stick: Practical classroom strategies based on neuroscience.
· contemporary approaches to feedback strategies and tools to support with blended learning environments.
· Innovation within a box: Contemporary learning approaches to timetables, leadership structures, collaborative planning, and school structures.
As true superheroes, our teachers spend most of their time helping others, inspiring greatness, and going above and beyond expectations. This workshop was another example of our educators coming together and extending their support and wisdom.
