Over the last eleven years in a number of LEQ schools and 24 years before that at St Peters, Eric Wilson, LEQ Risk Services Manager, has facilitated accredited first aid training for staff and students. His last accredited course was held recently at Redeemer Lutheran College, Biloela and to celebrate the journey a “first aid “ cake arrived during a break in training. After marvelling at the great creativity and decorating skills of staff member, Eran Clark, and photos taken to record its existence the bottom layer of the delicious chocolate cake was demolished. The top section travelled back to Milton to be admired and shared.
At the close of this particular provision the generosity of RTO, First Aid First, must be acknowledged as Aileen and Howard Reimers have given, at no charge, “co-provider status” to this training. We acknowledge their contribution and give thanks for their partnership in learning.
