Class of 2018 Receive Final Results

Minister for Education Grace Grace has congratulated more than 48,000 Year 12 graduates from across Queensland who have received their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and OP scores. Ms Grace said the future was bright for the class of 2018, who could now turn their focus to entering university, starting a trade or moving straight into the workforce.

Fast facts

 * 51,872 students will receive a Senior Education Profile

* 48,649 students will receive a Queensland Certificate of Education

* 94% of students achieved a QCE — 0.3 percent higher than last year

* 25,766 students will receive a Tertiary Entrance Statement (showing their OP)

* 733 students will receive an OP1

* 21,333 students will receive an OP between 1 and 15

* 1073 students will receive a Certificate of Academic Commendation for Very High Achievement in the equivalent of at least six Authority subjects (i.e. at least 24 semesters at VHA standard)

* 31,395 students achieved a VET Certificate I, II, III or IV qualification

* 1623 students studied a university subject while still at school

* 908 students with learning impairments were awarded a Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement
