The Ecumenical Chaplains’ Network was established in 2015 by retired Catholic priest and founding chaplain of John Paul College, Father Leo Burke. Its aim is to support, educate and inspire chaplains through seminars, shared discussion, prayer, worship and encouragement. This gathering is a tremendously encouraging experience. It allows chaplains from various systems and backgrounds to share, learn, pray and support each other.
The first of our two meetings for this year will be held at John Paul College in the Noelene Munns Centre on Friday 1 March from 10:00am until 2:30pm. (The second meeting will be held on the Northside in Semester 2.) Guest presenters will include Lutheran Youth of Queensland’s Tom Schmidt and Jim Schirmer. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
