Innovation in Creative Industries (ICI) Conference – June 19 and 20

LEQ is pleased to announce bookings are now open for the Innovation in Creative Industries (ICI) Conference. The (ICI) Conference, held in collaboration with St Andrews Lutheran College, and Future Anything, invites primary, secondary, education leaders and tertiary providers to our 2-day conference, offering 2 keynote presentations, 2 panels and 12 workshops.

Our conference is open to Lutheran Education Queensland along with other education sectors. Only 80 places are available per day, 1-day or 2-day tickets can be secured by visiting the bookings page here. The first 50 bookings will receive a FREE copy of Dr. Catherine Ball’s Converge. Considering the line-up of presenters, I believe we will be at full capacity quickly.

Read about our amazing keynote speakers and 12 workshops on offer here

Some of our workshops are at full capacity already as schools are sending a large number of educators. To ensure we have capacity, we are opening a new stream of workshops titled Stream+. Information about the Stream+ series will be shared shortly. Doug Braiden Principal Faith LC Plainland will facilitate the second workshop for Artificial Intelligence in Schools as part of this stream.

In response to the rapidly evolving AI (Artificial Intelligence) landscape, educators will develop an understanding around this emerging technology and its potential impact in education. Learn about approaches to AI education and explore ideas for how schools can harness AI tools to support teaching and learning. During this workshop, participants will have time to explore some of the tools available and discuss considerations for their own school policies.
