Recently Professor Stephen Heppell has been meeting with us to show us the latest research and reports he has been undertaking in relation to environmental and social factors required by schools in the new Covid normal. The findings and reports support some of the proposed requirements for learning in schools which Australian states have been discussing.
A number of Lutheran Schools are involved with a study utilising the Learnometer which is a device specifically designed for schools to measure and plot data in terms of many environmental factors within classrooms ranging from CO2, O2, Light, Sound, toxic gas levels etc. This data is quite incredible when it is aligned with the effectiveness of learning data within school environments. There has been an increase in orders from Lutheran Schools of these devices from Professor Stephen Heppell. Please notify us if you require the device. We will be holding a session soon with Professor Stephen Heppell so that schools can hear about the latest international research from Stephen as well as how to effectively use the Learnometers.
