A great adaptive re-use rebuild of year 2 and 3 at Living Faith Lutheran Primary School to become Enhanced Contemporary Innovative Learning Environments to support the rich experiential pedagogy. Notice less opening and closing the sliders with no more than two fingers – if it doesn’t easily move with two fingers then easily reconfigurable spaces supporting teacher teaming does not happen. Also notice less furniture clutter, multi-modal Thornburg’s spaces, neutral colors from recent research and easily reconfigurable designs aligning with ILETC research Melbourne Uni (Prof Wes Imms, John Hattie ……….). Less walls coupled with supports for student agency with supporting environmental conditions from the work of Prof Stephen Heppell. Also the Biophilic work of blending the outdoor with indoors. All that’s missing is the students and teachers to make it Hummmmm!!!!
