Congratulations to former Peace LC Cairns Captain and 2020 graduate, Gnu Kim who has been awarded the prestigious TJ Ryan Memorial Medal and Scholarship for 2021.
The TJ Ryan Memorial Medal recognises educational achievement in Queensland with nominees being Year 12 students who demonstrated outstanding leadership in their school and community and academic excellence.
Gnu is one of only 10 students across the state to be awarded this honour in 2021, providing him with a scholarship of up to $10,000 over five years towards his tertiary studies.
Gnu graduated from Peace Lutheran College with aspirations to pursue his passion for research in Science and Medicine and we wish him every blessing for his studies and future career successes.
