Congratulations to ten wonderful Year 6 students from St John’s Lutheran Primary School, Bundaberg for their achievements today at the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Queensland District Readers Cup Challenge, held in Hervey Bay. 40 teams from schools across the Wide Bay competed in the event. St John’s had two teams competing in the event and it is with great excitement to announce that First Place was awarded to Team 1. Congratulations to Isabella, Rosie, Lani, Jalah and Caitlin who will be representing the region at the State Titles in September.
