I first met Dennis in 2011 when I began a period of service on CLEQ. At that time I could see that Dennis was someone who was always stewarding his time, spinning five plates at once but nonetheless able to be carefully attentive to the matter at hand. I have come to know Dennis as someone who is deeply committed to giving his very best in service to LEQ schools. As part of this modeled commitment, Dennis has always encouraged those of us on the LEQ secretariat to also serve with the very best of what we have to offer.
I know that one of our schools has a book in which all the advice Dennis has ever given is recorded to inform decision making into the future! This too is one beautiful image of the gift which Dennis has been to our schools.
As we say thank you and Godspeed to Dennis, I encourage you to read Tim Kotzur’s article in the LCAQD news if you haven’t already done so.
Thank you Dennis for serving in the way only you can. May you know God’s breath within you as you rest, prepare and begin this new role and God’s love to guide each step.
