Service Learning Intensive from ALC
In Semester 2, ALC will be offering a 3-day online intensive equivalent (with assessment for credit as optional) for educators with a passion for service-learning & community engagement. Facilitated by Dr Meg Noack (former Director of Identity & Formation-LEQ) and Jodie Hoff (Principal of Lutheran Ormeau Rivers District School), this is an opportunity to work and learn with others who work and lead in this field. It will include virtual and face-to-face sessions. Designed to be practical and innovative, this intensive held over 9-10 July with other dates to be negotiated, interrogates learnings from the COVID19 pandemic as a point of reflection. This is a PD opportunity that can also be completed as part of ALC’s Graduate Certificate in Education and Theology – https://alc.edu.au/study/courses/graduate-certificate-in-education-and-theology/. For more information and to express interest in this workshop, email enquiries@alc.edu.au or download a copy of the Service-Learning & Community Engagement flyer.
