Our Families

Why a Lutheran education?

Inspired learning for life

We want to stimulate a child’s curiosity, desire to learn, and passion to contribute to the lives of others. Innovation and collaborative learning are the norm here.

Each of us is created with unique God-given gifts and talents. We encourage all our learners to be curious investigators and creative problem-solvers. A Lutheran education is holistic, recognising the importance of the intellectual, physical, emotional, social and spiritual development of every student.

A rich variety of learning experiences build on each child’s and student’s individual strengths and interests. All students are inspired to become caring, responsible, community-centred young adults who embrace challenges and grow with confidence.

Our excellent academic programs are complemented by broad co-curricular programs and experiences that encourage students to learn and grow.

Living through our values

All Lutheran early years and school services encourage creativity, foster respect, and leave room for wonder.
Our Christian history shapes our values and our community culture, and our schools provide regular opportunities for the community to come together, pray and worship.

Caring communities

When your child attends a Lutheran Education Queensland early years service or school, you feel like part of the family – and it’s no coincidence. We purposefully foster community because it is the hallmark of supportive learning environments. We develop strong relationships where each child and student can not only belong, but flourish. We embed pastoral care across each stage of a child’s development, nurturing self-awareness, emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience. Our schools are places where students, families, staff, and volunteers come together with a common purpose.
