In preparation for ANZAC Day, the students covered the grassy hill outside the library with poppies. The effect was quite something. The image later appeared on the Premier’s Facebook feed.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly,
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
