Last week over 85 Lutheran Educators across the regions enjoyed watching the film “New School” and engaging with Principal Stephanie McConnell from Lindfield Learning Village.
Many of you enjoyed our screening of this documentary that explores contemporary schooling across three outstanding schools in Australia.
Many more of you were not able to make the screening and have reached out since to ask whether we will be running another session….
WE CAN DO YOU ONE BETTER!
We have secured the licensing to allow all Lutheran School staff to view the film. Each Principal has been sent log in details and can manage or delegate (maybe to you!) the viewing for their staff. We have access for the next 30 days.
Please do take the opportunity to make this a powerful sharing and discussion opportunity at your school. Don’t send the link out to individuals, instead gather people together either in person or virtually to engage and provoke each other about how the film makes you think about the journey your own school is on towards contemporary learning.
The film goes for 34 minutes so it could become a valuable whole staff meeting or maybe you want to watch it as a smaller teams.
Are all your staff meetings are booked up for the term? …Think about running a voluntary afterschool screening and discussion (maybe provide popcorn! )
***We only have permission for staff and board members to view the film. If you want to share with your wider community then get in touch with us and we will organise that for you***
