Valuing Safe Communities
If you are concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a learner or student, you should report this to the Service Leader or School Principal, a student protection officer or the student’s teacher.
All our staff are trained to respond to student safety concerns with the appropriate sensitivity, care, and procedure.
If you are a parent or carer who is concerned your child is being bullied, please raise your concerns with your child’s teacher in the first instance. Each school has a Student Behaviour Support policy, which details how our staff manage student bullying.
If you are not satisfied with the teacher’s response, you can contact the school’s guidance counsellor or Principal.
Inclusive Education & Support
We aim to support the educational needs of all children and students enrolled in our education services. You can discuss your child’s educational needs with your child’s Service Manager, teacher, or the school’s specialist support staff, and they will work with you to develop, implement and review your child’s individualised learning plan.
If you feel your child’s needs aren’t being met, it’s important you speak with your child’s teacher, the specialist support staff, or your Service Leader or School Principal. They will work with you to review your child’s educational needs and adjust the learning plans in place to best support them moving forward.
The amount of specialist support funding any service or school receives is based on the number of students enrolled at the service or school who have a disability.
This type of funding is not allocated to individual children and students. Resources are allocated to provide reasonable adjustments within the classroom, ensuring all children and students with disability in attendance are supported to engage with educational programs.
For more information, please contact your Service Leader or School Principal.
Service fees
You can ask your Service Leader or School Principal any question you have about fees or subsidies. They are well-placed to support you.
If you are unable to pay your early years or school service fees due to a change in your family’s financial circumstances, we encourage you to approach your Service Leader or School Principal for a confidential and safe conversation.
Feedback and Concerns
We welcome your feedback and want to hear your concerns. Your feedback helps us grow and better support our children, students and families.
In the first instance, please raise any concern with your child’s educator or teacher. If you are unable to reach a resolution, you can arrange a meeting with the Service Leader or School Principal, who will work with you and other parties to reach a suitable resolution.
If you have feedback to share, or a concern to address, please contact us.
