Professional Development Events

Lutheran Education Queensland (LEQ) offers regular Professional Development sessions for teachers, Principals, and support staff, ranging from skill training, such as First Aid and Fire Safety Training, to focused workshops and conferences for particular interest groups such as Special Needs, Teacher Librarians and Curriculum Leaders. On occasions we source particular expert speakers to deliver up to the minute information to particular interest groups.  The Lutheran Education Australia teacher accreditation process is also supported through the EQUIP Program.

We have a strong commitment to providing access to varied Professional Learning offerings for staff of LEQ Schools, helping them to increase their skills. LEQ will always attempt to respond to the needs of Lutheran Education staff, and as such, other PD opportunities will be provided on a needs basis. These PD offerings are offered primarily for staff of Lutheran Education Queensland Schools, however if educators from other systems see something of interest and would like to attend please contact LEQ on 3511 4050 and if vacancies exist we will be happy to take your registration.
